How we got started

Five years ago, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, we found ourselves doing what so many people did at the time: looking for connection online. What began as a curiosity about VR quickly became a passion. We started exploring virtual worlds, learning the tools behind them, and spending countless hours creating environments in Unity simply because we loved bringing ideas to life.

At first, it was just experimentation. A world here, a story there, a few friends gathering to roleplay and explore what was possible. But as those worlds grew, more people wanted to join. What started as a hobby slowly evolved into something much bigger. We began developing a format that blended roleplay, live performance, worldbuilding, game design, and community storytelling into something uniquely our own.

Along the way, Haven and Sprixer met through VR. United by a shared love of storytelling, creativity, and ambitious ideas, they quickly discovered they complemented one another perfectly. Where one saw a narrative opportunity, the other saw a technical solution. Together they built not only a partnership, but the foundation of what would eventually become OSRP.

As the years passed, more talented and passionate people joined the journey. Artists, developers, writers, builders, performers, sound designers, musicians, producers, and community leaders all brought their own skills and perspectives. What began as a handful of friends became a dedicated team united by a belief that stories are best told together.

Today, one of our greatest strengths is our ability to create nearly everything in-house. From world design and environmental art to character creation, custom systems, sound design, music production, cinematography, live broadcasting, and narrative development, our team collaborates across disciplines to build experiences from the ground up. Every project is shaped by people who genuinely care about the stories being told and the communities experiencing them.

What drives us has never really changed. We still love gathering people together to tell stories. We still love building worlds and experimenting with new ideas. The difference is that now we have an incredible team, an amazing community, and bigger dreams than ever before.

And we're only getting started.

As we continue to grow, we're exploring new ways to share what we've learned through workshops, private campaigns, educational opportunities, live productions, and entirely new forms of immersive storytelling. The road behind us has been remarkable, but the road ahead is where the ideas that excite us most are waiting.

Our mission

At OSRP, our mission is to push the boundaries of collaborative storytelling by bringing together technology, performance, and community in ways that have never been done before.

We believe stories are at their most powerful when people are given the freedom to shape them. By combining virtual reality, game development, live production, and roleplay, we create living worlds where every participant has the opportunity to contribute, create, and leave a lasting impact.

Our goal is not simply to produce entertainment. We aim to build spaces where creativity thrives, where artists and performers can experiment with new forms of expression, and where communities can come together to tell stories larger than any one individual could create alone.

Through innovation, education, and collaboration, we strive to make immersive storytelling more accessible while continually exploring what is possible within emerging technologies. Whether we're developing a live cinematic series, hosting workshops, mentoring new creators, or building tools for future productions, our focus remains the same: empowering people to create meaningful experiences together.

We envision a future where the line between audience and performer, player and character, technology and theatre continues to blur, opening the door to entirely new forms of storytelling.

Every world we build, every project we launch, and every person who joins our community becomes part of that vision. Together, we're not just telling stories.

We're creating the future of how they're told.
